When you live at Pine Meadow Nursing Home, you will get full time care in a comfortable setting yet close to friends and family.

Pine Meadow Nursing Home is not-for-profit nursing home owned by Land O’Lakes Community Services in Northbrook, and managed by Extendicare (Canada) Inc. We are governed by the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care, Ministry of Labour and the Ministry of the Environment.

There are 64 licensed beds with options for a standard room (shared room and bathroom), semi-private (shared room and bathroom) or private room. One private room is available for respite stay arranged through SELHIN.

 

A Registered Nurse is on duty 24 hours a day and personal support workers help you with your daily needs.

At Pine Meadow you will be treated with courtesy and respect and given the physical, social, psychological and spiritual support you need to live with dignity while promoting independence. You’re encouraged to interact with staff, your family and friends freely. You’ll live in a safe, clean environment with good food, entertainment and activities.

Pine Meadow is an accredited facility, having met or exceeded a number of national standards set by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.

We are a small rural home is nestled in the heart of Land O’ Lakes, surrounded by nature and close to numerous beautiful lakes. Our home consists of two residential care wings and a service wing all on the same level. There are two dining rooms, and several common areas, activity rooms and lounges.

 

Residents and staff often enjoy the large enclosed courtyard located at the front of the building.
